What another busy week of arcade repairs at Austin Amusements

Posted by Austin Amusements on

Its a first for Austin Amusements and for Australia with the NEW Karaoke VYBOX, Lets Get Loud , card operated (Nayax card reader) machines heading to an arcade or shopping  centre near you!

We managed to build two of these on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday this week. Putting the whole machines together for a customer who has 5 more for us to build (3 of which we have already started). There was so many issues with the first machine and we still have a bit of work to go to finish it off. We are working with basically no build and wiring instructions, but getting the job done.

It all started on a pallet, which was originally created.

Unpacking didn't take to long and once complete we were underway finding what goes where.

Once the base and uprights were srcewed on the floor panel, speakers, amps and wiring were run and screwed in place on the roof panel, this went on and we started work on the outside panels and interior. The unit even has an air conditioner on top! Let me tell you it was nice to sit inside and take a break with the air conditioning on 18 degrees.

Now that everything is in place we are ALMOST ready to GO. We just have a few bugs to sort out and need to install the NAYAX card reader and entry doorbell control panel that goes on the front panel.

I will put up a video or photos once complete and all worming next week.

At prescent we are a little behind in service calls but will get to everyone as soon as we can.

update

The Nayex card reader and doorbell were installed last week and after a two days of testing they have now gone on location.
